Lucknow: In a heartwarming turn of events, the Sahadatganj police under the Lucknow Commissionerate played a pivotal role in resolving a long-standing dispute between a couple. The couple, entangled in an eight-year-long love affair, had been facing difficulties in getting married, with tensions running high.
The woman, distressed by her lover’s plans to escape abroad, approached the Sahadatganj police station. She revealed that her lover had secured a ticket to Oman in the Gulf, intending to flee without fulfilling his promise of marriage. The timely intervention of Inspector Brijesh Singh prevented the situation from worsening.
Inspector Singh, known for his empathetic approach, called the man to the police station and mediated a peaceful resolution between the couple. Through a mutual reconciliation agreement between the families, the couple’s hearts were reunited. A marriage ceremony, adhering to Muslim customs, was arranged at Lucknow’s Idgah, solidifying their bond.
This is not the first time Inspector Singh has played cupid in troubled relationships. His commendable efforts in reuniting estranged couples have earned him a reputation as a problem-solver within the community.
